Friends First

Kaylie started middle School in 6th grade. By the time she was in 7th, she had it all figured out. She had lots of friends, she was popular, she even got good grades.

But then, a new boy started at Ridge-view Middle School on the first day of 7th grade. On the first day of school, he became friends with all of Kaylie's friends and became popular too. A few days into the year, Kaylie and Tom met and they were instantly friends. They did all their assignments together, talked all the time, hung out all the time, and eventually became best friends.
