The Purge

Living alone isn't fun. Especially on the night of The Purge, where Kim Jennie is left to fend for herself, watching all the horrors occurring outside her house.

But she hasn't really minded, especially as her dad is a high-ranking government official, thus she's granted immunity from The Purge.

Until one night, the rules change, and suddenly everyone wants to target Jennie, since she's a new victim.

Jennie isn't prepared to defend herself, so when Min Yoongi, her classmate, appears at her front door, begging her to let him in, she instantly accepts.

Now she has to remain alive for 12 hours.

This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge, sanctioned by the U.S. Government.

Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted.

Police, fire and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7 am.

And, for the first time since its inception, no one has been granted special immunity from the Purge. No citizen or group will be exempt.
