In a materialistic world where corruption and greed; selfishness and reputation; money and status meant everything, Victoria was trying to find her way.
What exactly was her way, her path?
It kept changing over the years, however, it was soon to become a labyrinth with walls so high and thick they almost blocked the sunlight, driving her to the verge of insanity.
As chance would have it Victoria comes across the most wanted, dangerous gang leaders of her time. Perhaps some might say it wasn't chance...
At first glance, you'd never imagine them being so. No, they were not tall and lanky, they were your average, above average dudes. You just never knew what to expect.
Xander Vice, the main guy behind the master plan. The man ready to take on the world to protect his gang and wealth. He was known to be ruthless, kill without a second glance, the master of disguise.
Girls would fawn over him yet he never seemed to care. There was always something missing, a void that could never be filled, a thirst that was impossible to quench, a spark impossible to ignite...
"You don't know what you're getting yourself into." He whispered as his breathing grew ragged.
"I know you'll protect me." It was her turn to smirk.
"You're mistaken, I couldn't care less about what happens to you."
She spun the gun maliciously in her hands, took off her leather jacket, pulled her shoulders back and tossed him the gun, "Go ahead babe, shoot."
She knew then that something clicked in his mind, like he finally realized a suppressed secret he was trying to keep from himself and for the first time in years... in his moment of epiphany... a couple tears frolicked down his chiseled cheeks.
Finally, someone instilled fear into the fearless.
