“I remember when I first took Molly…” he murmured thoughtfully, staring out the window. “Oh yeah?” she said awkwardly, unsure on how to reply. “Yeah,” he laughed with a small twinkle in his eye at the memory. He turned to look at her and her heart jumped a little in her chest, unsure if it was from nervousness or something else. “I was instantly hooked,” he simply stated.

Molly Clemens is a sweet, shy girl with a golden heart who cared so much for people. She couldn’t tell you what famous actor won an Oscar this year or what singer got signed onto the biggest label of the century; her world never revolved around pop culture. But she could tell you how you can tell a person has been alcohol poisoned or the various ways addicts intake drugs. At 18, she was already asked to help intern at her aunt’s rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol abuse treatment. Molly was happy to finally have a taste of the future she hoped to soon have as a rehab therapist.

Included in this is Zack Mason, who, in simple words, is a drug addict. As a successful, well-known 20 year old musician, Zack endures a lot of pressure from his record label, manager, friends, family and everyone else who counts on him to continue to write music, sell records, sell out tours, and keep fans happy. A young man with a large weight on his shoulders, the singer spirals out of control and finds himself in Woodlands Rehabilitation Center.

These two people with two completely different worlds meet and seem to bring out the best in each other, as they realize letting go of the past isn’t such a bad thing and accepting the future isn’t as scary as it seems.
