A year later, she looks back and all these thoughts seem so stupid that she can't help but laugh at herself because she's worried about much more now. How come someone so perfect ruined her life? While someone so flawed seems to be picking up all the pieces and putting them back together. Looks can deceive the eye, especially when it comes to Eric. When Tessa meets him he seems like everything and so much more. He knows all the right things to say to get her to do anything he wants. He shows her so many new things she gets so intrigued by him that she seems to forget that she hasn't felt a spark the whole time she was with him. The only thing she doesn't like when she's with him is that friend of his, Alex was it? or was it Aiden? She can't remember and she doesn't bother. Anytime she's with Eric and he's there he acts like such an ass towards her. He makes her feel so many things she's never felt before, she brushes them off as just her being angry at how ridiculous he is. But as Eric slowly tears her apart Aiden is behind her the whole time
