Lyra Collins is a famous singer, known for writing her own songs, bearing her soul, and putting her whole person behind them. But, when the fame gets to be too much, Lyra decides to go back to where it all really took off for her; Descoteaux School of the Arts. Teaching a class or two is what she prays will keep her mind off of the crazy ideas of her manager and all the flashes of the camera, wanting to focus on the music and just the music. She hopes that maybe, she’ll get back that spark music has always brought her and find her muse again, and maybe, just maybe, finish her song.
Reed Alexander is looking for “it”. He has no idea what "it" is, but he’s hoping that going back to the music, the one thing he has left, will help him figure it all out. Going back to where his father studied, Descoteaux School of the Arts wasn’t part of the original plan, but when the founder of the school calls you up, talking about familial ties and offers you a job, who is he to say no? Everything falls into place and it seems like the place to accomplish all he wants to do and maybe, just maybe, he’ll find what he’s been looking for.
Who knows? Maybe together, they can create a Symphony.
