Mackenzie Marsh had cancer when she was 13. She still had her talent for singing, which helped her through most of the pain. When she was 15, she got the tumor in her left leg out, though it costed her her leg. She didn't know what it was like to live until she met guitarist Nicholas Straight. As Nick shows Mackenzie how to live, they end up falling into a deep relationship with each other. But when one word leads to another, Nick ends up getting in accident that ends up having Mackenzie risking it all.
