What happens when the first love of your life asks you out? A dream coming true! On cloud nine, floating in the sky, the sweet melody of the happy music in the background and the warm sunlight illuminating your face that has a faint smile etched on it. Right? Yes. For me? No. Why? Because that wasn't the case with me. Why? Because there was no sun, it was super cold and there was no smile on my face. Sure, my heart was all warm and it went all fuzzy but my face...remained pretty much expressionless for that is my tendency whenever I am hit with sudden news. Except for the blush. And the fidgeting of my hands. And the fidgeting of my feet.
What did I say? A yes? No. Why? Because I was a blabbering mess who muttered an in-comprehensive and an in-coherent sentence with no specified answer and ran away. What happened afterwards is what I would like for to be kept veiled for it was no sweet cake with a cherry on top. It was a cake that my face got smudged with.
