What happens when the first love of your life asks you out? A dream coming true! On cloud nine, floating in the sky, the sweet melody of the happy music in the background and the warm sunlight illuminating your face that has a faint smile etched on it. Right? Yes. For me? No. Why? Because that wasn't the case with me. Why? Because there was no sun, it was super cold and there was no smile on my face. Sure, my heart was all warm and it went all fuzzy but my face...remained pretty much expressionless for that is my tendency whenever I am hit with sudden news. Except for the blush. And the fidgeting of my hands. And the fidgeting of my feet. What did I say? A yes? No. Why? Because I was a blabbering mess who muttered an in-comprehensive and an in-coherent sentence with no specified answer and ran away. What happened afterwards is what I would like for to be kept veiled for it was no sweet cake with a cherry on top. It was a cake that my face got smudged with. ------------------------------- This is the story of Aurora Green, a smart girl with big dreams, grey eyes, the opposite of her surname and transparent expressions and feelings, who has mastered in the art of embarrassing herself in the most unexpected situations and then be a flustered, hyperactive mess unable to handle it. Worst of all when her long-time crush, Adam Waters, is in the vicinity. But she can't leave coffee, no matter the hyperactivity. For coffee is love and Adam was to remain oblivious till the end of time. Or so she believed.

I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." My heart beats skyrocketed, because this was the moment everything changed forever. "Saw what?" Asked Axel. I took a deep breath, and continued.
