"The next question is for Kendall." the interviewer said before looking at me. "Kendall, you come from one of the most famous police families of New York City. Your grandpa, mom, dad and siblings all became involved in law enforcement in some way. What made you decide to go a different path?" The camera then panned on me and I looked at it right in the lens, knowing my family back home was probably watching. "That was their dream, not mine."
