"Lost souls belong to wind collectors." -- Auretta Shaw have always felt different among others. She never was the quiet girl her mother had wanted her to be, but a stubborn and fierce one. Society does not like rule breakers, guess what? That's her job. If you told her left, she would run towards the right. Not the kind of girl you expected right? Her life was a complete mess already so when a boy who called himself a collector decided to influence her life more, she could not be 'any happier'. He told her he wanted to bring her to the City of Myst, where they were plenty others just like him, just like her. He wanted her to become a ... Wind Collector? What even is a Wind Collector in the first place? "You think I'm going to follow a complete stranger like I'm five years old? Try again." She spoke with stern eyes as a snicker escaped her lips. "Don't get so feisty Black Widow, you were chosen to be one of us so you must come. Not an option." The boy returned with the same amount of attitude as a smirk hung low on his lips. She thought only her life was a mess, but now even her own knowledge of herself was a mess. Copyright © 2019 by Hermion Tam. All Rights Reserved

Icebound

For 250 years, the world has been buried beneath ice and shadow. The Shroud swallowed the sky, putting the planet into an endless winter. The sun is nothing but a myth, and the last of humanity clings to survival in the underground cities. So does Odette Voss until the fall of Aetheris. Odette barely escapes, forced onto the frozen surface she's only heard horror stories about. The cold is brutal. The ruins are haunted by creatures that should not exist. And the few survivors left will do anything to stay alive but so will she. The only things keeping her going are the thoughs about her brother and the safe haven, Aurelia. If Kieran survived, she'll find him. If Aurelia is real, she'll reach it. And no matter what lurks in the ice, she'll be ready.
