This is the story of Queen Aurelia of Macere. With her mother gone and her younger sister alone, the last thing Aurelia needs is an invasion from the Romans. Julius Caesar, on his way to conquer Gaul, invades the tiny kingdom of Macere for supplies, slaves, and gold. Aurelia is taken prisoner and sent to Rome with many other women from her kingdom. As a slave, she works in the house of Rome's wealthiest citizens. what happens when Marc Antony, Caesar's right hand man, is sent back to to Rome to restore order and meets the dethroned Queen of Macere?
