One day a long time ago a luminescent baby was born radiating a strange golden light. As time passed more and more of these strange supernatural powers came to be. Soon about 80% of the world's population had what were called "quirks"; supernatural abilities unique to a person or bloodline, the other 20% were what were called "quirkless". After these "quirks'' appeared, crime and criminal activity skyrocketed. In order to counteract this, a new profession was created,one that had only been in fairytales, stories and dreams..... HEROISM!
