Evangelina Todd is not the kind of single who is ready to mingle and prefers to have books over people (but like... some people are okay). But not even a week into her first year at Hogwarts and she befriends Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, and Scorpius Malfoy.
By their third year, the group faces challenges from within: Albus is having issues trying to live up to the expectations that come with the Potter name, while Rose and Scorpius seem to have a rift between them. Can Evangeline help, or will her best friends be driven apart?
Meanwhile, trouble is brewing in the Wizarding World by a new group formed from the ashes of the Death Eaters. As those in the Ministry begin to fall and those in Hogwarts begin to experience dangers beyond what they thought possible, will the Wizarding World survive this new threat?

Rose Weasley has always been the top of her class. She got it from her mum, the pure determination to soak in all the information that she learned because to her, there was nothing more interesting. But at the start of her sixth year, she is already feeling stumped, and not because of the higher-level N.E.W.T classes that she is taking. No, this is because of a Malfoy. Her parents were never too thrilled that she was friends with the kid, but it didn't stop Rose, especially not when she couldn't even see her best friend/cousin without also seeing him. Along with Rose, Scorpius was also one of the top students in the class. He was her only real competition. And the friendly competition never hurt anyone, well, not until this year. Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out.
