After Carl Shadeheart risked his life to stop Cinder's mad plans, everyone is now scattered. James is with team JNPR, Ruby, and Lena on the way to Mistral, Kou is staying with Yang as they both recover, and Carl is MIA and currently in augmentation process.

New threat and new enemies are coming our from the shadows. All of these people are going to change the fate of Remnant.

James has now new resolve, Lena carries her brother's legacy, Carl is augmentation and Kou is still healing. Will they face the future that was shrouded by darkness?
