Lucy 'Luce' Reagans lived in a foster home with her laid back 'parents' and four foster siblings. Like most people her age, she went to parties and had fun. But she took it farther than other people, she stayed out late, not coming home until the next day. She drank so much she often couldn't remember what happened. She did things most would say is 'too dangerous'. She hung around with people who acted similarly. But she didn't care. Luce was a wreck, she just didn't know it yet.

Tyler Davison was the golden boy. Everyone liked him. He was smart, he was sweet, every parents dream. He had everything that anyone could ever want. Until his parents dropped the news that they were moving halfway across the county. Tyler had lived in the same place all of his life, and he had forgotten how to make friends. So, in the middle of summer he is alone with no clue what to do.

Then, one day a girl named Grace comes to his door asking for his help. She was worried for her wild foster sister, and asked Tyler to befriend her in attempts that having a 'normal' friend would help her sister. Little did they know, that Luce was heading for disaster and Tyler was the only one who could help.
