The Play-Act

Violet is a 17-year-old girl that her life turned upside down a few months after her father passed away. Her mother accepted a job in Brooklyn and now Violet has no other choice but to go with her mother, Alice, there and start a whole new life again. She's leaving her family and friends, and the only family she has in Brooklyn are her Aunt Mia and Uncle James, including their daughter, Rose, who is 17 years old, too. Violet will be going to Rose's high school, where she meets Dylan Green, who they become really good friends, also meets the most popular and coolest guy in the school, Sebastian Miller, who she thought she never met before, even though they used to hang out every summer before she stopped visiting. After getting humiliated by him and his group of friends, Sebastian asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend, because he lied to the whole school about having one, and to get back to his old self, the old self he was before Violet came back to Brooklyn, permanently, he wants to see if Amanda, the most popular girl in school, who has a boyfriend, will get jealous or not, and if yes, then they could be the perfect couple and everything would be back to normal again. What could possibly happen to make the plan go wrong?
