Jughead transfers from Greendale high to southside high when his old school is shut down. Everybody from his old school is scared of him, he also was the bad boy of the school and apart of the Greendale poisons. He's not scared of anything or anyone, but he also has his reasons.

Veronica and Betty became close as friends but she still was crushing on Jughead until he approached Betty in her room and kissed her. They decided to met each other's families after two months of dating. Her dad didn't support it so he kept on abusing Betty while Alice sat there watching it happen.
