And yet disaster seems inevitable.
Aiden and Claire have loved and lost, been together and thrown apart; no they weren't a couple, they never have been and yet something remained there, transfixed; they couldn't move forward and they couldn't look back.
But when Aiden finally comes back to town, Claire's got a whole new set of friends and she has no idea what to do; be the rebellious child that she used to be or the good daughter her parents have seen her change into.
You can't very well tell them it's going to be rainbows and butterflies; because it's not; nothing is ever simple, especially when Claire's parents dislike Aiden as much as they do; Claire's trying to avoid him and that they both don't want to get too close.
Isn't it always the case, that fate should have it, to throw both souls into a conundrum and hope they survive?
