Letters of a broken heart

I made you up.
And then I wrote to you.
So much to the point
That I got attached to you
And to where
I have to convince myself
My feelings aren't real.

Little letters carried with grace but buried by the hands of someone who has no intention of keeping them.
Because ever heart needs to be heard, be it by a voice or by ink.
