Humanity had neglected their home for the last time.

The ring of the fire killed thousands, the air is filled with smoke, and the ice caps have finally melted. The politicians point fingers, the religious pray to their gods to spare them, and the people riot in the streets.

The scientists have one last shot at preserving humanity, "Project salvation", they call it. To stuff people in "ice boxes" and hope for the best. One thing they couldn't figure out is what would meet them on the other side.

I feel so cold, there's a piece of me missing and it hurts so much...I can't...I just..." Is this the beginning of the end? Or the start of a new beginning. How many more steps are needed before they reach freedom? Or have they gone one step too far?
