After Skye's life-changing events in 2019 pass through, a new school year begins. Amazingly, she has transferred to the school all her new friends go to, but the questions of if this 'family' is willing to stay together linger in her head. And her biggest concern is how they would react to the truth about her family heritage-- her brother, Brian Crandall, someone who had caused multiple severe problems toward their group and to many others.

To Skye, it's only a matter of time that all her new friends would abandon her. She feels she would be dragging everyone down because of her parents' deception and abuse and, the amount of trouble and conflict her brother has caused

Unbeknownst to Skye, her friends--this family she has will continuously grow and support her, wanting badly for her to accept them to her fullest potential.

Above all, they want to liberate her from the chains the Crandall family uses to drag her down.

A family will do anything to protect one of their own, and these friends will stop at nothing to make this possible for their dear friend.

'Tangent Points - Points on a line that cross paths once, then never meet again.'

Dysfunctional individually in their own ways, they somehow are functional as a group, you'll never see one without the other, and the other, and so on and so forth. They're essentially a family who need each other.

Like all people, they all make mistakes, and sometimes never agree with their family, but at the same time, they learn and begin to appreciate the lessons that come with the mistakes.

Many, many pieces will become vital to this family. To them, life was like a rollercoaster ride. Just as long as they had people riding with them, they knew they would be okay. However, some of them start to wonder whether or not this bond will last forever. There is no such thing as forever; the days are numbered for a reason.
