This will be my first story... So don't set your expectation bar so high and please keep in mind that this is all done on a crappy phone. Now then, to be clear this story really just came to me in a dream. Strange isn't it? 

We follow the life of a girl named Aredene Barker. Her family is pretty much broken after a tragic incident that her parents refuse to speak about. She is visited by a mysterious being that refers to itself as her brother. His claim is impossible because her two brothers a fine and normal to say the least. So who is this being? And what does he want? 

If any part of this story seems familiar or copied, know that it was not my intention to do so. It was purely made up from my imagination.

I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory. She steps closer, her voice trembling, but the edge of anger sharpening her words. "Or when? Or where? Or for what reason? Or what it even means?!" I flinch at her tone, but I can't answer her. I try. God, I try.. I look down at the sand beneath my feet, forcing myself to dig through every memory, every hazy night out, every stupid decision I might've made-but nothing. Not a single moment of how I got it surfaced. I let out a frustrated breath and rake a hand through my hair, feeling the panic rise like bile in my throat. When I finally lift my head to speak, Ashley's already staring at me, and I can tell-she knows my answer before I say a word. On a hunting trip to feed Alex meets Beth, a dying human. After she feeds she finds she doesn't want to leave. Beth ends up in hospital. Alex follows after her. She resists Beth's attempts to push her away. Finding out that Beth's sister has cast a spell may explain why she can't seem to walk out of Beth's life. In desperation she calls her vampire father. Concerned he catches a plane. Alex's emotional state deteriorates. Her need for blood increases to the point of being dangerous. She meets a werecat with answers, but not the ones she wants. She finds some answers but they lead to more questions. Alex's were-hybrid heritage has finally caught up to her. There is no guarantee that she will survive what she considers Fates joke. The transformation turned out to be a long painful process. Her were-heritage demands that she claims Beth as her own. She is almost powerless to stop it or to make her own choice. Beth however has no choice but to complete the mating and be turned. It is that or die. When she nearly dies in the grip of the transformation Alex curses Fate and demands things be put right. The Fates intervene but they ask a price be paid.
