Ever wondered what Carol Danvers--- I mean -- Vers' life was like on Hala? This story begins prior to the start of Marvel's 2019 Captain Marvel film and attempts to fill in the gaps of what her life might have been like through a series of vignettes. It then continues through the film and ends post-the film. Primarily told through the perspectives of Vers and Yon-Rogg.
All characters belong to Stan Lee's wonderful Marvel universe.

Life wasn't exactly what you would call... normal for 18-year-old Daniella Marks. Right when she was born, her parents had died in a bombshell that hit their state, leaving her to be brought up by the Stark family. In the events of her life when she finds out that one of her 'missing' parents were actually not 'missing' at all, her world starts to change. Everything seems like a trick to her. A scheme. That is, until, she moves in with a family friend, patriotic Steve Rogers. There, she starts to pick up the pieces of her heart but what looks like a window of hope could turn to a locked front door.
