The High Necromancer, Mortava, has taken control of the Western half of Lanta Anar. He laid waste to a powerful kingdom and sent his Gûl Arquen to erase anyone foolish enough to challenge his authority. Yet someone managed to uproot his plans from the inside and steal a good chunk of his power while they were at it.
Now the rebellion and the Necromancer are fighting over the one person who can save--or destroy--Lanta Anar.

Thousands of centuries ago humans, vampires, and werewolves lived together in harmony, considering one equal to the other. The borders were shut, crossbreeding was forbidden since it created halfbloods and demons and each kingdom was led by the king of their respective race. In secret, however, it was decided that the human king would watch over them all to prevent another war from ever happening again. Since the human kingdom laid inbetween the other two, the humans invented technology to keep all the races at bay and trained the warriors of their army as skilled hunters. As time and generations went by, the kingdoms became more isolated and the common humans forgot that supernatural beings even existed. However, the war had never truly been resolved so the hatred that the vampires and werewolves had for each other endured. When a mysterious murder occurs, chaos breaks out within the kingdoms. A throne must be taken, blood must be shed, a choice must be made and all must be answered by a girl with purple eyes.
