"Heimat - A place you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland." This is a continuation of a world both writers created in high school, nine years ago. It takes place in a world with a subset of humans with special abilities. These powers are divided into different colors -red, blue, green, etc- that reside inside these people. Nicole is a character who has already survived two other stories (that are not posted on Wattpad) and has found someplace she belongs at a school for the gifted called Heimat. Maia was a typical, ordinary human until she flat-lined in a fatal car accident. She was brought back, but not without new abilities from the other side. She too finds belonging at Heimat. Until it becomes apparent that corruption runs rampant and danger threatens their newfound family. **DISCLAIMER** Trigger warning for just about everything. Seriously. Don't ignore this. ----------------------------------------------- Stats; -First chapter posted 3/25/19 -#842 in 'hurt' on 4/26/19 -#839 in 'paranormal' on 4/26/19 -#440 in 'comfort' on 4/26/19

A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to? Read on as we see Freia and her friends struggle to find their places in the world they thought they knew of. [COMPLETED] [UNEDITED]
