Through it all they stay together and when choosing day comes they choose Dauntless together where they think things will be easier but of course those two aren't allowed to live easy lives. The basic plot of Divergent, Tris transferring to Dauntless and her and Four falling in love are still happening, but in different order and with my own twist to it.
