Kairos is the name, just your average magically gifted Guardian running from her problems... Years ago I walked away from my home, Empire Island, and turned my back on my sacred vow to protect its magic. I thought I could enjoy my freedom, but my past has caught up to me. The island is under threat from demon-possessed recruits destroying hallowed land and poisoning the Well Source of magic. I kicked their ass right away, only to discover the threat I never expected to face was behind it all. Demon King Uruk'Zu himself. To make matters worse, my younger sister has gone missing. Caught up in emotion, I kissed the man who has haunted my dreams for years. It was an innocent kiss, or so I thought. Turns out it was a bad idea. Very bad. With that one kiss we woke a centuries-old fated-mate spell that will curse my life if I deny it. I don't know how I'll fight these invaders, protect my island, find my sister, navigate family drama, destroy the Daemon King and handle this whole fated-mate hot-guy thing. I'd rather run away again, but if I fail, the thin veil of magic separating worlds will tear. Dark chaos will consume my island, everyone I love, and the entire world. No biggie, right? Tristan steals shadows to make familiars out of them. It was all completely harmless until he stole the shadow from a demon, effectively stripping away all of their powers. Now Gregor is stranded in a dimension not his own without magic. Tristan agrees to help him get home, the least he could do because it was mostly his fault (and totally not because he has a crush on Gregor, or because of Gregor's compulsion magic or because he kissed him.) But then everything goes wrong when they get attacked by fire elementals who work for the demon Earl Alfred of Aleman who is also after Gregor's magic. The elemental manages to steal the shadow and now Gregor and Tristan must travel through different dimensions to get the shadow back and slip the Earl and his henchmen in the process.

It was a simple and mundane life, but Kira cherished it because it was all she had. She often wondered if there was more to her existence, but it seemed like wishful thinking. As she arrived to school for her last year of high school, transfered students of high class were being welcomed. Kira was assigned to guild them around and then encountered an injured man on the way back from school and decided to help him out. what happened yesterday felt like I dream to her so she put it all out of her mind. One evening, Kira's newly found friends arranged to meet up at an arcade near by when, a peculiar sensation enveloped her. The world around her began to ripple and twist, as if reality itself was coming undone. In an instant, she found herself in a place that defied all logic. Strange creatures and vivid landscapes surrounded her, and she realized that she had been transported to a different dimension. Before her stood a tall man with pink glasses which she found a little odd, this person also possessed extraordinary abilities. He explained that Kira had been chosen to receive the power of reality warping. Kira was overwhelmed by the enormity of the responsibility, but she felt a glimmer of hope that her life might finally have meaning. .. or so she thought. Until Kira, forever questioned the thin line that separated good and evil, hero and villain.
