The Cold War, 1947 - 1991. During the Cold War, around 1950, genetic testing had been discovered and had begun. By 1993, this genetic testing had caused a mutation passed down throughout Generation Z by the experimented parents. This mutation had altered the genetic codes to make them mature faster, have stronger prefrontal cortex's, and somehow protect the generation from nuclear radiation poisoning.
The Raging World War of 1999 - 2003, had plagued the world with incapacitating agents and radiation released through nuclear bombs set off by North Korea and Russia.
But because of the genetic nature of most of Generation Z, they had survived, in a post apocalyptic world filled with older, deformed, and psychotic older generations. Generation Alpha was whiped out.
Now, in 2019, Z has adapted to their surroundings and have formed clans and groups to stay alive. By now, clans with older Z's have eliminated anyone who would now be younger than 13 years old, they were thought to be the weak.
One group of 8, was started just by 2 brothers, Chad and Drake Lansin. They were on there way from Portland to Seattle in search for other Z's. And they found them.
But along the way, they have to confront many obstacles, radiated waistland, other clans, and of course there zombie like superior generation.

You can't remember when it all began. When something changed. Or maybe you could, if you thought deep enough on it. All you knew now though, was that you were alone. Because of them. Because of Him. Being forced to give up your childhood "for the sake of humanity" being another. With that out of the way, this will be a "yandere" type story, and will have normal Godzilla movie themes in it such as death, spoilers for the movies, and themes I've added in. There will be "talking" kaiju, however they don't physically speak to humans, rather its an insight into their thoughts/feelings.

L.O.V.E.
100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Rosie locked herself away in Finches tower block, stocked up on supplies from abandoned neighbouring flats, and lived every day with the sole purpose of keeping her daughter alive. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Roughly 200 years ago, scientists opened a hole in reality. From it, many monsters, and eldrich horrors escaped with their strange powers. It took many years of battle for these monsters to integrate into the ecosystem, for better or for worst at the cost of many lives. But these monsters were still a threat that possessed a power humanity wanted. Thus project Zodiac was created. The goal was to infuse an army with the monster's magic. But after only 12 survivors out of 12000 participants, the project was canceled, and the 12 were set loose. But most of the 12 freaks were unsatisfied, leaving them to do something drastic for them all to find out who's "King". Subject 666 code name "Cobra" has accepted the mission to assassinate his "Siblings". But who knows... Perhaps he's after the title of "King" himself.....
