Midoriya has had a crush on Kirishima since they started at UA. Of course, him being the shy, awkward teen he was, he never confessed to having these feelings. He doesn't even know if Kiri likes guys, and even if he did, Midoriya was pretty sure it would be Bakugou that ended up with him. Uraraka is the only one that knows about Midoriya's crush, and honestly, she fangirls if Kirishima even looks at Deku.
Kirideku is so underrated to be honest. They are so freaking cute together but no one acknowledges it ╮(╯▽╰)╭ there's so few fanfics with them *tear*
