Selene has never known her mother or father, in fact, the only people who seem to know is her uncle and grandmother. She isn't like everybody in her small and dreary village. She doesn't have blue or grey or green eyes, she has brown. She doesn't have red, brown, or blonde hair; she has jet black hair. She isn't tall or skinny, she's petite and curvy. She isn't pale or fair, she's tan. And most of all, she doesn't think like everybody. She knows she's special and unique, even when everybody says she's different and peculiar. One day, soldiers from the Capitol march into the village and declare her a pupil of Aravius Acaemy. She is whisked away from her former life, and thrown into the life as an Aristocrat. There she meets new people and finds herself a place where she thinks she belongs. But is this truly a blessing, or a curse?
