When Emma's world gets destroyed in the year 845, she vows to protect those she loves. She goes into the military with Eren, Armin, and Mikasa and soon discovers her purpose in living. But when she realizes that a certain emotion has the power to cause her walls to tumble down, she has to stop and rethink about what is her true motivation for living; revenge for her parents, or the smile that a small blonde boy offers her.
