Lumin is a special girl, especially in the war between Voltron and Zarkon. one day after years of imprisonment by lord Zarkon. Voltron rescues her. After she is rescued she finds out she is the purple lions' paladin. What will they think of her heritage? Will they trust her? Why is she important to Zarkon and the war? Will Voltron trust her? 6 years ago, Lance was kidnapped without a clue to where he went. Team Voltron searched far and wide, with not even a smidge of luck. They still have a bit of hope, but after 6 years that hope is dwindling. The blue lion has a new paladin, and the team is moving on. 5 years in the slave trades changed Lance, physically and mentally. He is a new person, no longer the goofy blue paladin he once was. He is now the leader of a year-old group of do-gooder assassins who take down the people who once "owned" them. Their identities hidden, they are known only as the "Deathhawks", and Lance known as "Pike". When Voltron hears about the Deathhawks, they want to meet up and ask them to join the Voltron Coalition. What happens when the paladins meet up with them, "Pike" included?

On her planet was all about harmony, magic, protection, trust, nature, and animals. You may be wondering animals? Well let me tell you, Y/n's planet was filled with animals but mostly crossbreeds. Her planet was full of magic and wonder, very powerful magic really. Y/n is full of magic and can summon any element of she pleases, but with Hagger, a witch, she can't use her powers to escape unless she wants that part of her ripped away like her home. Planet now in turmoil, her as a prisoner, life in hell, well, is hell, and has lost all emotion other than hatred. She still has hope but needs to pretend that she has lost it to keep herself alive and not further experimented on by Hagger. Until one day she is rescued by the paladins of green and black, to meet with a princess and the rest of the team who will fall in love. Can the paladins, princess, and royal advisor help bring back Y/n's lost emotions or will she suffer greater things than just torture of her Lost planet and flooding nightmares?

With Zarkon dead, Voltron has fulfilled his duty and the Universe can begin to heal. However, the team can't focus on the relief efforts, not when they are down a Paladin. Now, they need to find their missing piece, rebuild Voltron and, hopefully, make the Universe greater than it has ever been before. A Voltron AU where Keith grew up in the arena and met Shiro there. After barely fighting off a fleet of Galra ships, Voltron lands on the planet Toumia that is surrounded by three suns, humbly expecting thanks, gratitude, and food. Not necessarily in that order. However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do? They defend it. * * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Because of this, there will be spoilers for some things but not others, and seeing as this happens somewhere within the spacetime between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. It's weird. Hang with me, it'll all make sense by chapter sixteen. Maybe fifteen. I haven't written that far out yet. And just as a forewarning: in this, I will be doing several play-on-word jokes that may seem offensive. THEY ARE NOT. Google the meanings of said words, and you'll see why I made them, if you're that mad. They're funny, mostly because of the reactions of the characters. Also, don't take this too seriously. What is Voltron meant for? King Alfor was the creators of the Lions of Voltron. He told everyone across the Universe that they would be safe from the reign of tyranny as long as they kept faith in Voltron. That's exactly what they did. The people of the universe believed in Voltron. That is what Voltron was made for. To keep people safe! Not to use a weapon to destroy the universe.
