An unfortunate event has lead the assassin gang into the open, and a large group of bounty hunters is planning on taking them off. However, the assassins have brought more attention to the group than one would've liked, and it has grown significantly. The hunters have become the hunted, yet they still hide. Newly arisen criminal gangs take care of the bounty hunters, leaving themselves out in the open.

Y/N Wolffe is a young Nomad/adventurer. He's never really known his parent's as they were sadly killed during a raid on their camp. And before Y/N could join them he was saved by his grandfather who while old was still a capable and deadly warrior. But that wasn't all the city also happened to have a large dungeon with an unknown number of levels right in the middle of it where only the strongest could survive and return. Naturally Y/N wanted in on this but the issue was he needed to be a part of a familia. So he set out to join a familia. Most didn't want him as he wasn't viewed as strong enough and while he did get attention from Hephaestus he instead joined the lone goddess Hestia being her one and only familia member. But that was alright as all they needed was each other. Now growing to the age of 16 he's changed a lot from when he was younger catching attention from a lot of females. I'm sure you can imagine what happens next.

He was an orphan and so he lived with the other's in an orphanage. However the caretakers weren't exactly the best at their job often giving out beatings to kids just if they messed up, most of the time it was simply for the fun of it. But Y/N had one light there, a young girl by the name of Naoe who managed to save him from a beating. The two quickly became the best of friends so they left the orphanage together. Now living on the streets they learned very quickly that if you wanna survive you've gotta adapt. And they did he quickly learning to steal and scam just to survive and they were very good at it. Until one day they ended up stealing from the wrong person. But this wasn't an ordinary person as they would soon find out. The man they stole from happened to be an Assassin. And rather then retaliate he instead saw the two kids had skill and so he took them with him to their compound in the mountains where they would train...to become Assassin's. Years later the two were now young adults and were now apprentices to master Assassin's. All seemed well but it didn't last. Tragedy struck the clan was attacked by a group of warriors that only ended with the death of the Grandmaster and Y/N's people. Y/N and Naoe were among the very few who survived the massacre. Now being hunted they all split up knowing the chances of survival were slim if they stayed together and sadly Y/N and Naoe went their separate ways with Y/n winding up at the Imperial City where crime, evil and corruption ran rampant. So seeing the opportunity Y/N decided to do as his training said with the killing any corrupt officials he could find. It was here that he was noticed by the group Night Raid interrupting one of their missions, well let's see what happens.

I hear the clanking of metal loud and rigid from behind me, I feel the wind rush past as I sprint, they are still chasing me. I'll be honest I don't know what to do, quite frankly it's hard to think straight right now. I feel my body shutting down as the adrenaline is losing its punch, I can't run any faster. I'm always running, they are always chasing me. I don't even know why they chase me, I don't know what I did and like them they won't say. Do they even know? Am I just unlucky? Someone they picked at random to be the new subject of there torture? I wont let it happen. That's why I'll stay free, never fully contained. I think about the one I love, Charlie. I don't know where he is, I don't even know if he is safe. "Hey! Weapon down sarge, we don't want to kill her!" A guard's shout smacks me out of my train of thought. By this point I've gained some distance due to them having heavy armour. This stops me in my tracks though, I hear the guards slow down too. I stop, I realise, they want me alive. They aren't going to kill me, they don't want me dead. I have a gun, if I just point it at myself what are they going to do? I turn around and I look at all of the guards who have stopped in their tracks heaving in confusion. It's silent, even the wind is merely a whisper, all that can be heard is the panting of everyone on scene. They want me alive, they want me alive. I turn around, towards my chasers. I notice the guards straighten as I do so, instinctively I hold my gun to my neck, one bullet left, not enough for all of them but enough to kill me. They don't want me dead. I look to see all of them freeze in shock before one of the guards takes a step forward. I can't see their face, I can't see anyone's face but I feel like I need to know who this is. Before I can react they raise their gun and shoot. Pain explodes in my leg and I fall, all that running, for nothing. All I see now is black, I can't hear everything but I still feel conscious.

However he was soon awaken and was brought in by The Night Raid, a division of killers and Assassin's that aids the Revolutionary Army against the empire. With no where else to go and to return the favour to the group of saving him, he joins the Night Raid and now he must help them in their jobs of taking down the empires elite while also trying to find out who framed him and find out who is the real killer of his clan leader. Whatever the case he will have his revenge and justice.
