The Awakening

Savannah Pierson thought she knew everything about her ordinary life in Alaska. Her family consisting of her two over-protective brothers, and her parents who in years seemed to not be able to speak a civil word to each other. The invisible scars showed across the whole family and the tole of living in a secluded place where there are time restrictions and dead zones for anyone under the age of twenty-one. However, once the secrets of her family that has been locked away for years, and the town's reason for the strict rules slowly start to escape and come out. Savanah's invisible scars turn to real ones that could only show with being stabbed in the back by the people who you thought were the closest to you. And in the end, the only way Savannah is able to survive is through the help of a mysterious blue-eyed guy that seems to be fascinated with her, and the woods that surround the small town.
