And it was everywhere." • • • • • The remote Island of Ketterwick, somewhere just off the coast of Northern Ireland, was renowned for many things: stunning scenery, quaint towns, and a solitary individual named Ardál Hughes. Many myths surrounded him and many made up as ghost stories to warn children away from his fraying (and supposedly haunted) house. But there two things that did haunt Ardál- the passing of his mother, Ina, and a black cloaked figure called Death. Death knew everything. It knew who was going to die and the exact moment they were going to do so. And Death knows what happened the day the life was drained from Ina's sick body and failing heart.
