Third time's the charm.
I'd forgotten he'd existed. I hadn't expected him to come back into my life, not like this at least. Just when those broken pieces were starting to come back. And that's when I realized, if I'm still broken then I haven't found that glue.
Maybe that unexpected love I'd been looking for was the forgotten one, the one I'd crossed out from my list. I once quoted one of the best movies I'd ever watched, "If you wish for something with all your heart, even the universe conspires to give it to you." And there was only one person I'd wish for. Only one. But I'd given up, I'd moved on. And just when I was about to feel the true pain of heartbreak...he comes back.
The boy whose smile lit up a room, the boy who wore his heart on his sleeve no matter how hard he tried to hide it. The boy whose singing melted the hearts of anyone who heard. The boy who loved his mom more than anyone in the world.
