The Ex Best-Friend is about MJ, the stereotypical nerd that everyone hates, her best friend, Daxon Hayes has other ideas, after his glow up and MJ staying the same, what happens when Daxon finds his way into the wrong group in school? Will he get into trouble? Will he need MJ to help him? Next question is... Will she help him...? ---------------------------------------- "Daxon.... you've changed, and I don't think for the better..." I say softly as I look into his distant eyes, "people change Mary Jane, they never stay the same so I think you need to get that into your head..." He replies snakily before turning and walking off with his new friends, leaving me there, tears welling up in my eyes. "Goodbye Dax..." I whisper before turning on my heel and walking down the hall, clutching my books to my chest.

Kaitlyn just wanted to fit in, but Jason made everything hard. In freshman year, he poured water on her. In sophomore year, he made everyone hate her. In junior year, he realized that all he ever wanted... was her. Would Jason win her heart or would he finally realize that the only girl he ever loved would leave him just like his dad left his mom. .... "I told you to leave me alone, Jason. Why can't you take the hint?" I interrupted him. "Please Kaitlyn, one more chance. Please." "Why?" Jason looked at me. His eyes showed hurt. Good. He made me hurt for so long, now it's his turn. "You want to know the reason. I can't get you out of my head. You're like a drug I am addicted to. Kaitlyn, I'm in love with you." With that, he kissed me.
