L-O-V-E: something that only happens in movies, books, and other fiction. I live in the real world. Heck, I have never even said that word. Bad words, I tell you. * * * Cassandra Evans does not believe in "love." Because of this term, people end up unhappy. She is the epitome of brutal honesty; one of her primary proclamations is "Everyone deserves the truth." She is strictly against lying and liars. Enter our foreign exchange student, Julian Aylmer. He is a happy-go-lucky ball of sunshine. He doesn't know the existence of the term "hate." The boy with the poke-worthy dimples cannot stand seeing the sorrow on her face. He makes a bet to help her experience what she has been pushing away. What happens when these opposites meet? Julian is keen on making Cassie feel the love around her, while Cassie is trying to teach this foreigner to see the reality. It isn't about making her fall in love, but rather making her realize the existence of what he calls a "beautiful illusion." Can Julian really change her mind? Will his "dah-ling" actually give him a chance? Hate vs. Love Make your bets. _______________ Cover by Plurbit Promoted by TheDuffMovie Winner of Wattpad Spotlight Contest. Rose Waterstone, daughter of the lead commander, is sent to the facility at the ripe age of seventeen. She was sent for the same reason as everyone else - to prepare for the threat of war between sectors. She was more than willing to get away from her poor excuse of a father, ready to take on the real world - or at least she thought she was. Upon her arrival at the facility she can't help but catch the eye of the facility leader's son, Colton Grey. He was your typical broody, dark haired boy but he seemed to strike a nerve with Rose. He was intrigued by her but nothing but hatred seemed to fuel their actions towards each other. They couldn't stand each other, for what reason they did not know. Maybe it was because she was so stubborn? Or maybe it was because he thought that he had some kind of claim on her that excused the way he treated her? A new threat arises, rebels. Rebels who are hell bent on taking down the government and destroying everyone in relations to them, including Rose. They are both forced to work together, to help each other take down the rebels but how when they both despise each other with every fibre of their being? How when their resentment for each other runs so deeply? Colton hates Rose but won't let anyone lay a finger on her. Rose hates Colton but won't walk away.
