"You must protect her. She is the one you must guard with your life." A quiet silky voice spoke. The voice was quiet but urgent. "What if I can't?" A man had asked holding the small child in his arms. "You must. There is no other option. Keep her away from others who could use her for bad motives. Her secret can not be revealed." "How do you know I can do it?" The man's voice became quiet as he asked. "What makes you think that I can do any of this?" "You can, you have kindness in your heart, you must show her that compassion. You are strong, you must show her that she can't back down. You are able to hide her. Keep her away from others. Isolate her so her power can't be revealed." The woman's voice grew louder, but was shaken. "I will, I will for you my old friend." Book One of the Dragonborn trilogy.

Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.
