30 Days, 30 Stories: A Writing Challenge by stvnlra

This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. Write and publish 1 short story (flash fic, vignette) per day for 30 days. 2. Stories must be at least 100 words. 3. They can be of any genre or subject matter. Like a lot of writers I have notebooks lying around full of random story ideas. Most of my older ideas are for novels and screenplays. Been going thru my old ideas and picking out the ones I think lend themselves to the short story format. I'm also working on coming up with NEW ideas that I can use here. Never been good at using prompts, but this is a good opportunity to experiment with those. All the stories here are original works written specifically for this challenge. Flash Fiction Month Collection 2015 by EmoraBreeze

This is a collection of stories written for my participation in Flash Fiction Month this year. Each story is under 1000 words. They are of various genres, and there is a mix of original stories and fanfiction. Enjoy!

**COMPLETED** This is the story of Life, Death, a lonely human, and all those other names and faces that linger or are forgotten by time. It is a story of the violent and chaotic world, and the places in which, every now and then, everything is still. And it is in this stillness that the most peculiar of persons lie in silence, their stories waiting to be told, as they have for an eternity. | This all began as something simple, in the first few months of 2016. I had intended for it to be a short writing exercise, but something drew me back. Out of two pages, this sprung up. In all honesty, looking over it, it feels as if I am no longer the author. The characters control me, not the other way around. They've surprised me, created their own lives and twists without me knowing, and have completely taken over my world. In the way of format, each page was originally designed to be a chapter, as I have noticed that many tend to get lost in verbose paragraphs. These shorter chapters are meant to be easier to read, but still (hopefully) entertaining. |

Beginnings of books I don't have time to finish. But maybe, maybe, one day I will. Includes sample covers I've made.

I've written short stories for years. I even published a couple on Amazon! (You'll find them under my pen name.) However, not many people have read them. These are stories I haven't published anywhere, they just exist in my email drafts. I hope whoever finds this enjoys them and sees what makes each of them special. This is just a random stuff i come up with. I was keeping all of this stories because I was too shy, but now, I just want to express myself. I will keep on writing even though I don't have reader. My third anthology book written as a school project containing 8 different short stories for young people with different literature tastes. Friends exploring a living nightmare in an forsaken house, a kid suffering consequences of a bad desicion, a romance between a human being and a creature of the night, a peculiar puppy having fun in the streets, a detective trying to solve a crime and prove a young man's innocence, a father travels to s fantasy land to find his son, a mysterious joker causes mayhem in a neighborhood with his pranks and an astronaut explores a forbidden planet where no human being has ever returned. Different stories in different genders of different categories with different characters and different situations, but all of them coming out from the same mind.

Redemption's Song and other short stories by TheOrangutan

My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories.
