Amara Henrietta Potter was never told her name always called freak for the first five years of her life. Then she woke up in a dream and met Kol and Finn Mikaelson while they were daggered. On her seventh birthday when Amara/Kari uses her magic to threaten the Dursley's into leaving her alone, it comes out that her parents didn't die, they abandoned her in favor of her twin brother, and gets angry and in the process unlocks her soulmate bond with the two alive Mikaelson Brothers.

Years before he'd been daggered, the Reckless Mikaelson had met a very talented songstress who had befriended him.
