Abbie is a girl who is different. She can't talk, for many reasons. One her father slit her throat when she was 9 years old. She is depressed and lonely. Mostly though she is abused emotionally, physically, and sadly sexually. She hopes one day she can leave the hell hole she was forced to live in whether she leaves this town or this world. One day she meets a boy named Clyde, the stereotypical bad boy, the player, the smoker. Leather jackets and all he meets her in an ally, where she is hiding from her dad. He notices the small things that nobody else sees, the scars, the crying, the long sleeves, But most of all that she can't talk.
