You may suggest the following;
-length of poem (how many lines)
-either sonnet or poem
-topic (ex, color, name of book,
-if you are going to say that you want to me to make a poem about a book tell me the summary of the book that you want me to do a poem about
-modern English or Shakespearean language
-whether it's going to be directed to someone or it's universal
-whether it's a happy ending or depressing ending
