Riley had a normal life growing up. Until one day her parents were murdered. She didn't know who had done it but her older brother Toby did. He only knew because he had done it. Toby Houser was crazy and everyone knew it except for his sister. When Riley is forced to leave her house and runaway from the police she finds her self having to live with a new family. The more she gets to know this family the more she begins to think that something is wrong with the families only son James. Soon she figures out a secret that only James knows and James soon finds out the Riley is hiding something of her own.

Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy.
