When We Were Young

Kelly is a small time fashion designer that is stuck in a small town going nowhere fast. Though she's small town famous, she wishes for something more. Thirty knocking at her door, she rushes to search for what her heart yearns for while taking care of her responsibilities. Looking at all of her friends that are married and have children, Kelly wonders if that life is in her cards or, if she's been chosen to live her life lonely like her mother and all of the other women in her family.

"Kelly, you know it's a family curse to live your life lonely," Momma said. I sighed at her superstition. Nobody is supposed to be alone their entire life. Everyone is meant to be loved...right?

Arthur Moore finally felt the need to return to his hometown, Antlers. He has been roaming around the world with the US Marine Corp. Arthur gave many years to his country and gained the rank of E-9 but, he was looking for a place to settle and possibly a good woman to settle down with. Arthur hadn't expected to run into his old crush when he arrived back in town but, fate has her own plans.
