V for Vendetta Fan-Fiction Inspired by V for Vendetta (created by Alan Moore and David Lloyd), A Clockwork Orange (written by Anthony Burgess) and the world of DC Comics. Credits to the creators. In a dystopian future, after the face of Eastern Europe was changed by a domino of revolutions, in the Kingdom of Vlatava, power is forcefully taken over by a totalitarian, socialist regime, whose stated goal is to restore order and make sure no uprising takes place ever again. But order means complete repression of the human spirit, absolute governmental control of daily life, constant hunger, and the grim "vaporization" of individuals who do not, or will not, comply with the government's values. When the resistance finds itself cornered, only one man dares to fight against the oppression: V.

"We know this fight won't be easy. In fact, it'll be one of the hardest things you'll encounter in your life. You have to be passionate about this rebellion. People will die. But this fight isn't only to save us. It's to save the generations after us and to ensure that no one ever has to live through the President's tyranny ever again. It's to give everyone a better future. Think about it." Vivian King can't remember a time when the world wasn't controlled by a tyranny. She only knows oppression and misery. But never had she seen it first hand until her parents were murdered by the Presidents henchmen. Vivian chooses to join a fight that will ultimately bring freedom or destruction to her city. The question is, does she have what it takes?
