Students in their 7th year were offered to return to Hogwarts to finish their N.E.W.Ts after the Battle of Hogwarts. With the Dark Lord and his "pureblood" beliefs gone, everyone has a second chance at life; including the Malfoys.
The Slytherin prince, Draco Malfoy, and the Good girl Gryffindor, Hermione Granger were appointed Head Boy and Head girl, having to share the same common room. Draco always had an interest in Hermione although he always tried to fight against it...

When Hermione finds her self coming back to Hogwarts for a Manditory 8th year, she is put in a place she shouldn't be. A place too close to Draco Malfoy a place were it should be impossible for her to stand and Draco is determined to find out why and how.
