Tough Love

Ava Davenport has been a loner for almost her entire life. She gets bullied by the popular bitches and their jock boyfriends. She used to have a best-friend, Bo...but he moved away 8 years ago and it's been only her since. They were so close they were practically related, so it's a little odd how she's forgotten all about him...until he comes back. Halfway into the year, Bo Canen shows up her in Algebra class one morning. He's caught off guard at how she doesn't recognize him.

Bo Canen was Ava Davenport's second half for 9 years since birth. So it's hard when he has to move across the country due to his dad's new job. He became a troubled kid after the move, and it didn't help when his parents were killed in a drunk driving accident a couple years ago. He's been staying with his dad's best-friend since the accident in Oregon, but he had just recently been laid off and started searching for a new job so Bo has been passed on to his great aunt back in his hometown, Stone Grove. He used to be such a tiny scrawny kid so of course people wouldn't recognize him right away...but little did he know that Ava wouldn't be able to recognize him at all. Has he really changed that much?

Bo has been in love with Ava for as long as he can remember and he's absolutely devastated how she doesn't remember him...how far will he go to jog her memory, and to keep her safe?
