In 2003, an untested unit was slated to go into combat in order to invade into the heart of Baghdad. What ensued as the toppling of a corrupt regime and it's dictator. This story is written from the perspective of the ground unit and first person accounts of the invasion from start to finish. Though a larger picture was built by amazing authors, even ones who joined in the invasion; there's never been a definitive first-person account of the Iraq war from the view of the people involved. It's the hope of the author to describe the experience and peel back some of the layers of bureaucracy in order to define what it felt like to the people involved and invested with their lives.
