"One moment in the city is not identical to any other moment, and every day I will see a thousand new people, so how could I ever get bored? It entrances me, the comings and goings of so many unique souls, and I wonder about their stories, their past and present. Someday, I have resolved, when I have discovered the key to unwavering courage, I will approach someone who looks as though they have lived a thousand lives, and I will ask them about just one, just one story that I hope will change mine." This a love story that contains more than your average love story. Beliefs are meant to be challenged, so they will be challenged. See for yourself.

I was wondering if we could grab some coffee and maybe hang out sometime?" she asked nervously. He turned to her, a sense of darkness and danger emanating from him. Her body went on alert. "You shouldn't be able to see me," he said with a smiling like a Cheshire cat. . . . "I scratch and bite" she warned "You'll crawl and beg too" he smirked. . . . One face, nevertheless, sticks out in the midst of the chaos of her daily subway rides: a mysterious guy whom she covertly refers to as "the subway hottie." However, trust is brittle and was destroyed the day he discovered a cruel betrayal that left him bloodied and drove him to flee. His only goal now is to exact revenge, and The Nemesis is his target. But his well-laid schemes fall apart when she gets in his way. His icy determination starts to soften for the first time, and he has to decide whether seeking vengeance is worth losing the one thing he never thought he deserved-her. 𝔘𝔫𝔡𝔢𝔯 𝔠𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔯𝔲𝔠𝔱𝔦𝔬

Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014)

30 parts Complete

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.
